Note! In order to run Custom Conversion campaigns, you need to set up a custom domain.

How to Create a Custom Conversion

1. Log in to Facebook Events Manager:

  • Go to the Custom Conversions section and click Create Custom Conversion.

If this is your first time creating a custom conversion with ArtistHub, you will first need to define a new custom conversion event.

2. Select Your Event:

  • Choose ArtistHub as the website event from the dropdown menu., so you can fully utilize ArtistHub's custom parameters.

3. Define Rules:

  • Add rules and select "Event parameters" to refine your audience. For instance, target users who click through to Spotify by setting the destination parameter to "contains spotify."

4. Create Your Conversion:

  • Click Create to make the custom conversion available for ads.

Use your custom conversion in your Facebook ads

When you’ve created a custom conversion it’s time to start using it in your Facebook ads to optimize on URL traffic and conversions to music services.

1. Set Up Your Ad:

  • Choose "Conversion" as your ad objective.

2. Select Custom Conversion:

  • Under "Ad set," choose the custom conversion for your website, app, or Messenger ad.

3. Finalize Ad Setup:

  • Continue setting up your ad with the desired audience, placement, budget, and schedule.

By following these steps, you can effectively optimize your ad campaigns to increase traffic and conversions.
