Whitelisting on Facebook for ArtistHub

Facebook has a feature that allows you to restrict which websites can send events to your pixel.

Updated over 7 months ago

Facebook's Whitelisting feature helps you control which websites can send events to your pixel. Here's a guide on how to manage this feature:

Understanding Whitelisting

  • Location: Find the Whitelisting tool under the Diagnostics tab on your Pixel page in Data Sources.

  • When to Use: Whitelisting is generally not necessary unless you notice unauthorized websites sending events to your pixel. You can safely press "Ignore" if this is not an issue.

Important Considerations

  • Impact of Whitelisting: If you whitelist domains, websites not on the list will be blocked from sending pixel events. Misconfigurations can prevent detecting landing page views and hinder retargeting efforts.

  • ArtistHub Domain: If enabling whitelisting, ensure the vibe.to domain is included since ArtistHub sends pixel events from there.
