How to Set Up TikTok Pixel? (Updated)

This guide walks you through the latest TikTok Pixel setup process and how to connect it to your ArtistHub account.

1. Access TikTok Events Manager

  • Go to your TikTok Ads Manager

  • Open the hamburger menu (☰) in the top corner

  • Navigate to Assets → Events Manager


2. Create a New Pixel

  • In Events Manager, click “Connect Data”

  • Select your Ad Account (Data Source)

  • Choose Web as your data connection


3. Select Setup Method

  • Choose Manual Setup

  • Select TikTok Pixel as your setup option


4. Configure Your Pixel

  • Enter a Pixel Name

  • Click Next


5. Enable Advanced Matching

  • Enable all matching options (recommended for better tracking)

  • Click Next


6. Skip Website URL (Important)

  • You do not need to enter your website URL here

  • Click Finish


7. Access Pixel Settings

  • After setup, you’ll be redirected to your Pixel dashboard

  • Go to the Settings tab


8. Generate Access Token

  • Scroll to the Events API section

  • Click Generate Access Token

  • Copy the token


9. Connect to ArtistHub

  • Go to your ArtistHub Pixel page

  • Paste:

    • Your Pixel ID

    • Your Access Token

  • Save your settings


10. Verify Events

  • Return to TikTok Events Manager

  • Check if events are being received

⚠️ Note:
It may take some time for TikTok to start displaying events after setup.

Notes

  • Make sure you are an Admin or Operator on the TikTok Ad Account to generate the access token

  • If events are not showing, double-check your Pixel ID and Access Token in ArtistHub

  • TikTok’s interface may vary slightly depending on your account
